On January 29, 2021 I spoke with Guru, one of our community youth from the Hubsters youth group at the Victoria Park Hub, for the interview version of the podcast.  He and his parents gave us permission to share it publicly so we have included it as a BONUS episode for you all in this feed.  Guru talks about his political views, his experience doing a summer internship at East Toronto Chinese Baptist Church (ETCBC) and how some of his religious views have evolved.

From time to time I have opportunities to speak with various organizations.  If the topic provides a fuller picture of what ministry is like, I will take the audio and make it into a bonus episode.  On June 26 2021 I was invited to share at Ezekiel Fellowship at Scarborough Chinese Baptist Church.  This sharing provided some background to how Victoria Village ministry began, how that intersects with my story and what I have learned along the way.

Since this is the first time I’m doing an update over audio, I will share a bit about how I’ve come to love this medium so much and how the one-on-one interview version of this podcast has affected my ministry with the Hubsters youth.
