The sixth beatitude is often considered the most climatic one with the promise of seeing God. This is a wonderful promise for the future. It is also a promise that we can receive today. When we set our minds on what is true, what is honourable, what is right, and what is pure, then we will see God working around us and through us. "Purity of the heart cleanses the eyes of the soul so that God becomes visible" (John MacArthur). Philippians 4:4-9 and Matthew 5:8
