The final days of Spring Training are upon us in the baseball world. Paul Russo and Kyle Evans get ready for the final major headlines before the Mets and Yankees head north for the season. The Mets have sent top prospect Francisco Alvarez back to Syracuse to start the season after struggling all spring. The guys react to the news and what it could mean for the future of Alvarez, while also talking about the catching platoon of Tomas Nido and Omar Narvaez that will start for the Mets. The club also received good news on Brandon Nimmo after exiting a game last week. Paul and Kyle talk about whether Nimmo will be a name that floats in and out of the injury report and the players in line should he miss extended time. The Yankees have plenty of roster questions of their own. Isiah Kiner-Falefa appears to be moving to the super-utility role, including some time spent in the outfield. Paul and Kyle debate whether or not that is sustainable for the team. They also discuss how this move affects IKF and his spot on the roster as the final cut days loom. His old position of shortstop has been hotly contested, with Oswald Peraza and top prospect Anthony Volpe vying for it. The guys talk about who they think will be manning the middle for the Yankees come Opening Day. Lastly, Paul and Kyle take a look at Rochester and Syracuse as their rosters take shape. They look at the new faces in the 315 and 585, as well as key returning players to the teams.
