Washington Commanders QB Sam Howell is winning NFL free agency and Magic Johnson ownership reports.

The Washington Commanders have made some moves in free agency including the additions of offensive linemen Andrew Wylie from the Kansas City Chiefs and Nick Gates from the New York Giants, and those moves have made Howell a big winner up to this point. So has the signing of veteran quarterback Jacoby Brissett.

Linebacker Cody Barton may be a newcomer, but he's also a winner in free agency up to now simply by joining a defense featuring players like Jonathan Allen, Daron Payne, and Montez Sweat.

Then, Magic Johnson is reportedly joining Josh Harris' group bidding to purchase Washington's NFL franchise from Dan Snyder, and he brings championship pedigree with him.
