Washington Commanders spent time with many offensive linemen at the NFL Scouting Combine including some winners from the draft event, and the team's new home may still have a chance of standing on hallowed ground.

Peter Skoronski (Northwestern), Paris Johnson Jr. (Ohio State), and O'Cyrus Torrence (Florida) are just three of 19 names Washington spoke to in formal interviews from the combine's offensive line group. The focus on the position group shows a direct intent to get better up front and includes some of the event's winners.

Joining them as winners from Indianapolis are tight end Darnell Washington (Georgia), quarterback Anthony Richardson (Florida), and offensive lineman Cody Mauch (North Dakota State) on offense while cornerback Christian Gonzalez (Oregon), edge defender Adetomiwa Adebawore (Northwestern), and cornerback Deonte Banks (Maryland) come away as winners on the defensive side.

And finally, commissioner Roger Goodell is trying to help D.C. gain access to the RFK Stadium site as a potential spot for a new Commanders stadium in the near future.
