Photographs are such a potent highlighter of those subtle and supposedly hidden body language gestures, that are not so directly or immediately understood.

They reveal all this kept behind the curtains to make it visible to the viewer. So my dear listener, if you have photographs of your childhood, or recent ones, please keep them, you will need whenever you find yourself second guessing or doubting yourself or the sanity of the system/ relationship you were or are currently in.

They will save your mind much unnecessary gaslighting and overthinking over how or whether or not the relationship you are or were in is abusive and toxic.
