Fred Galvin served twenty-seven years in the U.S. Marine Corps, beginning as a seventeen-year-old who rose from the enlisted ranks to become an officer. During his time in the Marines, Fred served overseas in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Kuwait. Following his retirement, he became a business entrepreneur, nonprofit executive director aiding families of service members killed in action, and a consultant to the Marine Corps, coordinating activities in the areas of cyberspace, electronic warfare, and psychological operations. Fred is also the author of A Few Bad Men, a story about how his unit in Afghanistan was ambushed and then accused of killing Afghan civilians. He was eventually exonerated but still ran into trouble with the Marine Corps moving forward. https://www.simonandschuster.com/books/A-Few-Bad-Men/Fred-Galvin-USMC-(Ret-)/9781637584132 Support the podcast by supporting our sponsors at www.hazardground.com/sponsors Shop Amazon!
