Missing & Murdered
It’s been 27 years since 14 year old Marcia LeBlanc went missing and her 17-year-old boyfriend Marcel Cormier was found dead in his fathers truck. The man police suspected of the murder and abduction goes missing the day after he was questioned. It took nearly a year before Marcia’s remains were discovered by a hunter and even then, her parents were not convinced Marcia was dead. In this episode, I go into the details of this case and the theories behind the murders of Marcia and Marcel as well as the disappearance of the suspect.   Please rate, review, and subscribe on whatever platform you are listening to this podcast on.   Website: www.coldcanadapodcast.ca Instagram & Facebook: @coldcanadapodcast Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC2-4PYukdXMTRIvByjf880w Patreon: www.patreon.com/coldcanadapodcast   Should you have any information on the disappearance or possible whereabouts of Roger LeBlanc, or have information pertaining to the murders of Marcia LeBlanc and Marcel Cormier, please contact the RCMP Major Crime Unit (South) at 506-452-3491 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS(8477).   References:   https://www.facebook.com/newbrunswickcrime/posts/double-homicide-marcia-leblanc-marcel-cormierwanted-roger-leblancnovember-14-199/319627802200062/ https://www.facebook.com/newbrunswickcrime/posts/-26-years-double-homicide-marcia-leblanc-marcel-cormierwanted-roger-leblancnovem/564724151023758/ https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/new-brunswick/marcia-leblanc-marcel-cormier-unsolved-crime-1.4905951 https://www.facebook.com/marceletmarcia/ https://www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/en/nb/unsolved-major-crime-files
Halloween Horror

Halloween Horror
In 2007, a small, safe town in Portage La Prairie, Manitoba is rattled when it’s reported a woman has been brutally murdered in her home after celebrating Halloween. Who could have done such a terrible thing to a loving mother and grandmother? The family still doesn’t have answers.   A special thanks to Donna Wettlaufer for speaking with me in regard to her sister’s murder. I appreciate her taking time out of her day to relive the painful memories of this tragic event. Lost in Yellowknife
Over the past few decades, thousands of indigenous women went missing or were murdered in Canada. Mary Rose Keadjuk was one of them. She disappeared from the capital of the Northwest Territories in 1990 but the case wasn’t deemed a homicide until 13 years after she went missing. It took multiple years and tests to figure out a small remain belonged to the young woman. Listen to the episode to find out more details.   Please rate, review, and subscribe on whatever platform you are listening to this podcast on.   Website: www.coldcanadapodcast.ca Instagram & Facebook: @coldcanadapodcast Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC2-4PYukdXMTRIvByjf880w Patreon: www.patreon.com/coldcanadapodcast   G Division Major Crimes Unit RCMP: 867-765-3822 Reference Case#: 20121114141Crime Stoppers: 1-800-222-TIPS(8477)or online at https://www.canadiancrimestoppers.org/tips Crime Stoppers provides anonymous tippingSend email to the National Centre for Missing Persons and Unidentified Remainsat:  canadasmissing-disparuscanada@rcmp-grc.gc.ca    References:   https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/mmiw-4000-hajdu-1.3450237 https://www.aptnnews.ca/national-news/nunavut-man-still-wondering-what-happened-to-his-mother-and-why-the-rcmp-wont-help/ https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/north/mary-rose-keadjuk-remains-identified-1.4547174 https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/north/keadjuk-dna-bosnian-lab-1.4551297 https://www.cbc.ca/missingandmurdered/mmiw/profiles/mary-rose-keadjuk https://www.myyellowknifenow.com/27843/15-year-old-bone-fragment-finally-identified/ https://nunatsiaq.com/stories/article/65674nunavut_family_thanks_police_for_identifying_remains_of_missing_woman/ https://nnsl.com/yellowknifer/con-mine-bone-fragments-match-dna-woman-missing-since-1990-2/ https://edmontonjournal.com/news/crime/dna-evidence-matches-bone-fragment-found-in-yellowknife-with-woman-missing-since-1990 https://www.icmp.int/category/daily-digest/page/50/ https://www.services.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/missing-disparus/case-dossier.jsf?case=2014001907&id=0 https://www.grc-rcmp.gc.ca/en/news/2018/rcmp-confirm-identity-remains-discovered-2003-yellowknife http://www.auroracollege.nt.ca/_live/pages/wpPages/AboutUs.aspx
Shore Shooting

Shore Shooting
This is an interesting case from Newfoundland. The murder of a couple has gone unsolved for 27 years. They were missing for 13 years before someone came forward with vital information on their whereabouts. Was this the killer or is there more to the story? There was an arrest and conviction but no one has been charged with the first degree murder of the couple, so the case still remains cold. The following episode will highlight key evidence found and a confession of sorts.   Please rate, review, and subscribe on whatever platform you are listening to this podcast on.
