The New York Islanders played one of their best all-round games of the season and downed the Toronto Maple Leafs 7-2. Cal Clutterbuck and Ilya Sorokin were the biggest stars of the game but overall, the Isles played smart, Islanders-style hockey for the last 47 minutes of this contest and never looked back.
