It was two days before Christmas, 2015, when tragedy struck the Dabate house. Police were called to the scene to find 39 year old Rick Dabate lying on the floor in the kitchen, zip tied to a folding chair, surrounded by blood smears but alive. His wife Connie wasn't so lucky. Her body was found in the basement, killed by two gunshot wounds. Rick was able to tell police that this had all been the work of a masked intruder.
