This week's episode is about the con artist Desiree Boltos.  She was younger woman who got her hooks into several wealthy older men and one woman across the United States.  She would fake cancer and homelessness. for her and her children all while living it up in Las Vegas, California and Hawaii on her "lovers" dime!

This Week's Chit Chat Sam and Jeff take a deep dive into the Oscars or as much as they could stay up late for.  Over 3 hours really? This week's episode is about the murder of Charles Poland.  Charles Poland was a school bus driver who died defending his kids in Midland City, Alabama.  Jim Dykes a local man, who had a friendly relationship with Poland created a turn around on his property for the bus because he had a difficult driveway to navigate. BUT he ulterior motives.  He stopped the bus one day, started chatting with Charles Poland and drew a gun.  He demanded two kids, or he would kill him.  Charles Poland said absolutely not.  So, Dykes killed him and abducted 5-year-old Ethan Gilman, taking him hostage in a bunker on his property.  The negotiation to free Ethan that followed was JUST WILD.

Episode 131 is about the death of Amanda Hillious.  She was the mother of 4 kids and lived with her husband and father-in-law in Kalispell, Montaa.  One day during the Christmas season Amanda fell down the stairs! Or Did she?  Her injuries would suggest she may have been pushed.  It was pretty suspicious because Amanda had a rocky bordering on abusive relationship with her husband Brad and father-in-law Scott.  Throughout the trial several bombshells drop.  A suicide? Episode 130 is about the Murder of Crystal Theobold.  Crystal was the subject of the Netflix Documentary Why Did You Kill me?  She was a 24-year-old woman that lived in Riverside California, she was loved by her family and many friends.  One night, she left to go to the store and was shot dead in her car in the middle of what seemed to be a gang shoutout.  Her mother vowed to catch her killer, along with her cousin they used a popular social media site to hunt down the man who murdered their beloved Crystal.

This week's episode is the cold case murder of Lieutenant Joe Clark. One night in 1981, Joe was grabbing a snack in the Kitchen and was shot in the head through a kitchen window.  At the time Joe was investigating the war on drugs and had a lot of enemies.  The town was rattled by the case and there were plenty of suspects.

Episode 127 is about an episode of Web of Death from Hulu called Crowd Sourced Justice.  Bob Ruff was a fire chief in Buchannan, Michigan that was obsessed with the true crime podcast Serial.  He was so obsessed that he started his own podcast called Truth and Justice.  Within weeks he had 1,000 followers.  He was so committed to his newfound passion; he left his job as a firefighter and took on his role as a truth and justice warrior full time.  He came across the case of Kenny Snow, who claimed he gave false testimony about Ed Ates confessing his role in the murder of Elnora Griffin.

This week's case is about the murder of Rodney "Cockeye" Stepp in Martin County, Kentucky.  Elwood "Woody" Six and Rodney Stepp were the best of friends, but Rodney was a bit of a wild drunk.  He was an alcoholic prone to violent outbursts.  One day during the Christmas season the men went into town to do something Christmas shopping.  Rodney thought it was a great time to imbibe on some libations during the trip there and back.  On the ride home, Woody thought it was a good time to tell him he was concerned about his drinking.  This led to an altercation, a gun was drawn and Rodney was killed.  BUUUT Is this murder or self-defense? On April 6, 2022, firefighters and sheriff's deputies responded to a 911 call about a house fire in Rozellville, Wisconsin. After extinguishing the inferno, officials found signs that the blaze began in the garage.  The remains of Tanya Rodriguez and her friend James Carolfi were found in the garage of the house.  Tanya's Ex Boyfriend, Brad was the first suspect.  The bodies appeared to may have been assaulted before the fire and Brad claimed to have seen the house fire but did nothing about it.  WHY BRAD WHAT ARE YOU HIDING?
