They also discuss reinforcing mindfulness tactics in children in order to develop positive habits, discovering breakthroughs through taking breaks, and how we need to change our approach to education as the world evolves.Jamie Parganos began her foray into youth development after being requisitioned to write an original children's musical. After spending years as a recording artist, Jamie transitioned full-time into running after school programs. She has worked for Good Shepherd Services (formerly Groundwork), Manhattan Youth, Cambridge Learning Center, South Asian Youth Action, LEAP, Broadway Bound Kids, and Kaplan at elementary, middle, and high schools across New York City. Jamie has a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and a Master’s Degree pending thesis submission in Nonprofit Management and Organizational Change. She is also the daughter of Levon Helm, one of the greatest American musicians of all time and a founding member of The Band. She has won multiple Grammys as a performer and a producer, and her impressive discography and musical resume are testaments to her intense dedication towards her craft.
