02: Beatriz Browne on Finding Your Story

Proud to be joined this episode by director, producer, and storyteller Beatriz Browne. Beatriz specializes in non-fiction storytelling and her work includes the Docu-Series “My Kid The” which has been watched over 5 million times and been recognized by outlets such as Good Morning America and Upworthy. In this episode, Beatriz and Nadine talk about her journey from child actor to filmmaker, about being a multi-disciplinary artist, they discuss the practicalities of pitching, producing, funding your work. They also talk about her upcoming short documentary about resistance of culture in NYC. Beatriz and Nadine also ponder the bigger questions, like what it means to be an artist- today.

Beatriz Browne is a NYC/Los Angeles based, Webby Award winning producer, storyteller, and director. She is currently a Video Producer at Google. Beatriz has worked with clients such as Airbnb, The New York Times, CNN, Square and Fatherly, creating multi-platform original content.
