Quarterback Dylan Raiola and Nebraska Football coach Matt Rhule are quietly working together to lift the Huskers toward the top of the Big 10 in 2024.  Rhule isn't ready to name his 5-star freshman the starter just yet, though.  He wants him to get his feet wet and learn how to be a college student first.  But Raiola is working behind the scenes doing everything he can to help this Nebraska football team as much as he can.  We will get our first look at Raiola in the Huskers Spring Game on April 27.

WOODSON STAYING

Reports out of Bloomington, Indiana are that Hoosiers basketball coach Mike Woodson will be back next season.  After making the NCAA tournament in each of his first two seasons as head coach, the 2023-24 season has been a disappointing one in Bloomington.  We will share our opinion on that decision.

We have more data that says Iowa basketball star Caitlin Clark may have to take a pay cut to play in the WNBA.  But in reality, she has so many endorsements she will be fine financially.

COLLEGE FOOTBALL CHANGES

College football is going to move its early signing period to early December so it does not conflict with the December Transfer Portal period.  That's a step in the right direction but important college football people now want to create a third signing period that would take place in the summer.  We think that would be a dumb idea and we tell you why.
