The current year is 2015 and the world is becoming increasingly dangerous. Many Watchers, imbued Hunters who have chosen safety over the Hunt, have requested to return to the Academy to join a field team. Wanting to take the fight to the creatures that would prey on their fellow mortals. Join us as we follow a group of these individuals as they become reacquainted with the skills and powers they will need to go back into the underworld and fight the coming darkness. Hunter Academy Missions: The Watchers’ Return is the introduction module for Hunter the Reckoning set in the “Madison Under Siege” mythos created by Guldan Age Stories. This module is designed to introduce the lore of Hunter and “The Academy”, all while players are guided through an in-game character creation. Welcome to Movies of Darkness, today we will be watching The Crow and trying to interpret the events in the story from the perspective of the World of Darkness role playing games. We have designed this to be a commentary you can listen to while watching The Crow and have added a prompt so you know when to hit the play button. The main thing we will be doing is trying to explain how the events on screen would be interpreted according to a session of a world of darkness game. For example, we might say that a certain event would require a roll of some sort. Or, if we encounter a character, we’ll be speculating on what supernatural they might be and what powers they might have. Also, while we watch, we’ll be filling out a character sheet for Eric Draven.
