PAUSE Now, breathe again. This time tracing the path of the  life-giving breath through your body. PAUSE As you follow your breath, Notice its connection With your energy centers. Feel it expanding your root chakra, just below your spine, bringing greater grounding and feelings of well-being to you. PAUSE Now, follow your breath as it opens your creativity center, your sacral chakra, just below the abdomen. Allow its inspiration to flow through you. PAUSE Breathe again, into your solar plexus, the center of you. Feel the breath igniting more self-confidence, and the power to be yourself. PAUSE Breathe into the heart chakra, and all through your chest. Feel the love winding  in, out, and around you. PAUSE Follow your breath  to your throat chakra. Visualize it charging that energy center, so you can speak your truth. PAUSE Now, visualize the breath Opening your third eye,  Sharpening your intuition and psychic ability. PAUSE And now imagine your breath as it moves through and out the top of your head, creating a path for the energy of Spirit. PAUSE Breathe in deep once more, and as you do, Let the awareness of your powerful energy in all energy centers become clear. You are powerful energy. Allow your muscles to just melt Into deep relaxation. PAUSE Feel your body lighten, As if floating on sea foam, Gently floating. Gently drifting. Deeper into relaxation. PAUSE And, as your body relaxes, Notice your mind letting go, Releasing all those distracting Or stressful thoughts. Like your body,  Your mind just floats. PAUSE Now, breathe in again, And as you do, Imagine having the power To wipe the stress And distracting thoughts From your mind. PAUSE Continue breathing, Focusing on breaths that  Open and clear your mind. PAUSE Now, listen as a tiny whisper Tickles your ear With the word “Believe.” Hear it repeated Over and over. Say it to yourself. PAUSE While hearing the word “believe,”  Raise your arm, And slowly, gently  Move it as if you're wiping a window. Repeat the motion a couple of times, All while breathing peacefully. All while truly believing. Know in your heart that You are wiping away the Tension in your mind, The stressful thoughts. The pressure you put on yourself. Now and in the future. PAUSE Take a moment, And just bask, In this place Without stressful thinking. You have the power to  Turn away those things From the outside, Those things that create  tense thoughts and stress. You have the power  To live in a calm place. Enjoy this moment. And embrace your power Now. Today. And every day Into the Future, With a simple motion of your hand. Breathe in its  fresh, delicate air. Let it enliven you. Open you. Fill you with joy. PAUSE Breathe in the sunrise, Orange,  and Purple, and Rose. PAUSE Breathe, and feel the presence of life, All around you, And in you. It is the presence of Spirit. PAUSE All things are connected to Spirit. Especially you. It’s time to bring forth that spiritual connection and make it part of your Future Self now. PAUSE Take a moment and breathe, And as you breathe, Acknowledge that every breath of air Is filled with Spirit. PAUSE Imagine now, walking outside, In the bright sunshine, With a cool breeze. See the grass shiny and green. The sky royal blue. The clouds puffy white. Take them in. Take Spirit in. Because Nature is one of Spirit’s most beautiful expressions. PAUSE And, as you walk along, you hear the trees, gently whispering to you In the breeze. What are they saying? What is Spirit saying? Listen with your heart. PAUSE Now, visualize coming back inside, Sitting in your favorite chair or couch, And just breathing. Taking in all the peace, the calm, the space for you in the Universe. This, too, is Spirit. PAUSE Hold this place in your heart, in your soul. Go there when you need to be reminded  of your spiritual beauty. Go there when you need tranquility. Go there just to connect  to the wondrous Universe of which you are a magnificent, energetic spark. Remember now and always, Spirit is everywhere. You are Spirit. But your life’s journey is the art of becoming you. Gathering up experiences and wisdom, While releasing the old, Like a kaleidoscope constantly in motion. PAUSE… Sometimes it feels smooth, Like you’re floating down the river of life. PAUSE… Come deeper into yourself, With every breath. Deeper into the stillness inside. Becoming one with your divine soul.  Calm, Clear, Aligned.  LONG PAUSE… See if you can feel the old layers, Peeling off, As new cells emerge. You are constantly changing.  PAUSE… See if you can feel the excitement of the newness, Bubbling up inside,  Creating,  And singing with life.  PAUSE… Let go of the judgment, Of others, Of yourself, And sink further into who you are.  PAUSE… Let go of the expectations, The scripts they’ve told you to follow, And honor your own mosaic of life.  LONG PAUSE… You are always becoming you. With every thought, Every action, Every decision. So melt further into yourself,  And surrender to your evolution. PAUSE There are times in life when we just don’t feel full, but we’re not really physically hungry. We hunger for something else. And yet, we eat anyway. PAUSE So, take a deep breath, and as you release it, allow yourself to drift back in time– to a time where you reached for food instead of what you needed. Now, give yourself permission to know what you were feeling. PAUSE Were you angry or hurt? Did you feel lonely? Were you exhausted and pushing to just keep going? Observe without judgment. PAUSE Now, imagine if you can, reshaping that experience. Take a deep breath, and whisper to yourself what it was you needed at that time. Hold on to that. PAUSE Now, imagine, giving yourself exactly what you needed.   PAUSE Breathe in again, and tap into  the relief of giving yourself what you needed. Let yourself really feel it. Relief. Peace. Gratitude. PAUSE Hold those feelings. And, as you do, whisper a promise to yourself… a promise that when you hunger, you will feed yourself what you truly need. Breathe into the promise until you feel it become part of you. Now, wrap your arms  around yourself in a warm hug. Then, go about your day, knowing that you will feed yourself what’s right for you. Now and always. Breathe into. Feel it. PAUSE And, as you do,  clear your mind. Let any distracting thoughts wash away like the tide. PAUSE Now, imagine if you can, a relationship in your life that left you feeling  like you needed more. PAUSE It could be an intimate relationship, like a spouse or partner, a friendship, or maybe a relationship   with a parent, sibling or coworker. Allow yourself to see the relationship without judgment or frustration. PAUSE Now, visualize a magnifying glass that appears in your hand and gives you the ability to see inside and around all aspects of both people in the relationship. Take a minute and explore. PAUSE And, as the relationship is explored, let its intricacies–whether positive or negative– pass by you without judgment or emotion. You are simply an explorer. PAUSE Now, after exploring both yourself And the other person in the relationship, Imagine understanding what kept you Wanting more. Again, see it clearly without judgment or emotion.   PAUSE Now, visualize the other person as a one-quart pot of water, and you, as a two-quart pot of water. Hold the image. Can you pour two quarts into the other person? Can they pour two quarts into you? No, PAUSE Now, take a deep breath, and clear the image. Breathe once more, and let yourself understand that a one-quart person can never give you the two quarts you need. So, what can you do? You can accept that you need two quarts, and leave the relationship  because this person cannot give it to you. Or, you can accept this person  for the one quart they offer. You have the power to choose.  Any time. Anywhere. Always. And allow yourself to feel love, Imagine the feeling doubles.  PAUSE And see yourself, Out in the world, Finding love and attracting love, Like an oyster with a pearl.   PAUSE And breathe into the pink, That surrounds all of you, And trust that you’re attracting, The love that’s best for you. PAUSE And now, you know the secret, To getting love from the outside, But there’s another important place, Where love resides. PAUSE So, breathe deep, And exhale again, Then take a moment, And look within. PAUSE Because love on the outside, Is important for us all,  But lacking love on the inside, Can create a wall. PAUSE So, take a moment and breathe, Then whisper these words, “I love myself always in no uncertain terms.” PAUSE For the more you love you, The greater attracting love will be. Just focus on breathing. Feel your breath, expand and go deep within you. PAUSE And, as you breathe, just let your body relax. Visualize any distracting thoughts just melting away. PAUSE Peace. It’s a state of being, a wonderful feeling, that is often hard to attain. PAUSE With all the noise in the world, the stress of daily life, the demands of others, peace may feel like it’s  always just beyond you. PAUSE So, breathe. Breathe and give yourself permission  To feel peace right now. Just for a minute. How does peace feel for you? Hold onto to it. PAUSE Now, imagine if you can, the TV blaring some political nonsense, or the kids screaming for your attention. or the neighbors hammering a new roof. Where is your peace now? PAUSE So, breathe deeply again, and hear in a whisper  the words, “Peace is in me. I am peace.” Hear those words, and begin whispering them to yourself. “Peace is in me. I am peace.”   PAUSE Keep breathing  and repeating “Peace is in me. I am peace.” “Peace is in me. I am peace.” “Peace is in me. I am peace.’ PAUSE Now, allow yourself to find  that peace in you, that feeling you experienced just a moment ago. Find it, hold onto it, and keep repeating, “Peace is in me. I am peace.” “Peace is in me. I am peace.” “Peace is in me. I am peace.’   PAUSE And, as you walk out the door into the new day of the world, remember YOU are peace. It is in you.  And it is yours to share with others, so that they know too that they are peace. PAUSE One of the hardest things in life Is to have enough time, Often you spend it running around, And you don’t unwind. PAUSE So, through this meditation, Let’s turn back the hands of time, So you can create space for you, And feel joyous and sublime. PAUSE Now, imagine a clock ticking, With its hands running fast around. You put your finger on top of the hand, And watch as it slows down. PAUSE And when your finger lets it go, The clock hand starts again. On a journey long and fast, A journey with no end. PAUSE Now imagine in your life, Putting your finger on the clock, Stepping back and taking time, Giving yourself a needed pause.   PAUSE So, take a moment and look at your life, With awareness deep and clear, That you see places to put your finger, And make time for you appear. They look at Atlas, And hand her more. Oblivious to the strain,  Critiquing from the sidelines, While their arms are empty. PAUSE… Make time for self-care, they say, As if that lessens the load, And fixes it all.  A downpour of rain. Oceans of resentment.  LONG PAUSE… A silent martyr, Or a hero who’s suffered and evolved… Which will she choose today?  PAUSE… The raindrops have fallen before, And they’ve taught her that oceans of resentment, Will extinguish her light and energy, Consume her, Drown her. PAUSE… So Atlas stands,  Finds her voice inside,  And uses it to drain the ocean. PAUSE… She demands help, Respect, Love. PAUSE… She shares the weight, And stops mumbling under her breath, About the broken promises.  She trains the world how to handle her. PAUSE… For she is bursting with love and care, For every little thing.  She cradles the broken hearts in her arms, Fixes the cracks no one sees,  And breathes love into the blades of grass.  PAUSE… It’s easy for the world to just let her.  To be confused by her ability to hold and give so much.  PAUSE… So she speaks.  And shares, And instructs. So the oceans of resentment evaporate. PAUSE… And when raindrops trickle down again, She knows to shake herself dry, And stand up again. PAUSE And in this quiet space, become aware of your crown chakra at the top of your head. PAUSE And the more aware you become, the more you feel its buzzing with divine life, an energy that defies  three-dimensional words. PAUSE Breathe. Breathe into the crown chakra, and feel its pull upward. Beyond the sky. Beyond space. Up to the Divine. The crown chakra connects you  to the Divine.   PAUSE So, take another breath, and when you exhale, see the magnificent purple light  of the crown chakra on display. Your connection to the divine  is popping with energy. PAUSE Now, delicately  move your hands to the top of your head, and just hold them there to feel the energy of your spiritual connection. PAUSE As you gently lower your hands, acknowledge to yourself that the divine energy you hold connects you to… Your ancestors, Your angels, Your higher power. Welcome it. Embrace it. PAUSE And now breathe in your appreciation and gratitude for this amazing connection with the Divine. Know that if you take the time to work with that energy,  that it will help you grow spiritually. PAUSE Take another breath, and feel any part of you that needs to relax and release just let go. Just let go. PAUSE Now, visualize if you can,  a gleaming light of indigo blue  radiating from your third eye– that powerful space in the middle of your forehead. PAUSE And, as you observe that light, notice how it seems to touch…  Your intuition… Your imagination… Your dreams…. These are the essences of your third eye chakra.   PAUSE Pause for just a moment, and as you do,  imagine the third eye opening, widening its reach with a stunning indigo light shining out like a projector. PAUSE Gently touch the third eye, rubbing it gingerly to help ignite its intuitive powers in you. And, as you do this,  feel your appreciation growing for the ability to use  your intuition in life. your ability to go inside and find the answer. PAUSE Breathe in again, this time filling the breath with your gratitude for the third eye chakra’s wonderful gifts. Soften your muscles. Let your joints ease and relax, and prepare for  some time for you. PAUSE While focusing on relaxing, take a moment, and let your attention shift to your throat chakra. PAUSE Is your throat chakra tense? Are your jaws clenched? How about your neck? Is it soar? Tune into your throat chakra, and using your intuition, see if you can determine if  it’s open or closed. See if you can breathe into and relax any tense area. PAUSE Now, imagine if you can, A brilliant turquoise light shining through the throat chakra. It pulses and shimmers  with power. It is your power of expression.   PAUSE Softly place your hand  on your throat, and hold it there until you feel its expressive vibration. It is a powerful source of energy. PAUSE Continue visualizing the  turquoise light as it flows in and around the throat chakra. And, as you do this, acknowledge the importance of keeping this chakra open and healthy. When it’s closed, you limit your ability to express yourself. You deserve to express yourself. PAUSE Breathe in again, letting the energy flow freely through the throat chakra. As the energy flows, feel your appreciation  for the throat chakra  growing. Now, breathe gratitude into the throat chakra, and feel it expand even more. PAUSE Keep breathing and readying yourself to express your needs, your wants, your dreams, your desires, and most importantly, your love to those you see during this beautiful day. PAUSE As you relax, draw in a deep breath, a breath that reaches all parts of you, even the smallest corners or cavities. PAUSE Keep breathing. And, as you do, visualize a dazzling green light swirling in and about your chest. PAUSE Now, imagine, if you can, reaching out and touching the swirling green light and feeling a host of  beautiful emotions. Love, kindness, caring all move you. Feel the beat of your heart. Feel its loving power.
