Zenobia of Palmyra

Zenobia or Bat-Zabbai was a queen of Palmyra, who dared to challenge the power of the Roman Empire in the 3rd century. She was a brave, ambitious and charismatic leader, who commanded the loyalty and respect of her subjects. She, along with her husband, transformed Palmyra into a powerful force before all her dreams came crashing down. This is her story.
