In today’s episode, we discuss the harrowing tale of three sisters separated and abused at the hands of Children of God cult members. We’ll take a deep look at the book Not Without My Sister: The True Story of Three Girls Violated and Betrayed by Those They Trusted. This book is written by three survivors of the cult, Celeste Jones, Kristina Jones, and Juliana Buhring.

In addition, we discuss a few of the tactics the Children of God members used at Teen Training Camps such as; food and sleep deprivation, beatings, exorcisms, enforced silence, and public humiliation. We also touch on one of the military communes, the “Jumbo” which was a maze-like structure in a giant compound, surrounded by walls at least ten to fifteen feet high, with armed guards patrolling the wall.
