Does hot weather affect your client's lash retention? This is a new one for us. We've been in this industry for over 17 years, and until now, we've never heard this question. Recently some of you have sent us posts where lash artists are instructing their clients that they might need to cancel their appointment because it's too hot. They go on to share that when it's hot, the lashes won't last, and there's no point in applying lashes. Another post said that you should plan to come back every 1-2 weeks for a lash fill instead of the normal 2-3 weeks. So what is going on here? Is this really an issue? Do cyanoacrylates not hold up under intense heat? Do we need to cancel lash appointments when it's hot and lose money? What's the deal here?
