On January 1, 2008, Emerson and her dog were climbing up Blood Mountain in the Chattahoochee National Forest when they came into contact.

Unbelievably, Emerson’s head was discovered four days later. Although Hilton was possibly caught in a flash, Emerson soon became apparent that he wasn’t his first victim or even that he had beheaded someone before.
