I’m here to empower you with the knowledge of how to cope with postpartum depression as a Muslim woman. I have experience with postpartum depression, and I wanted to share my story so that other Muslim moms can know they are not alone. I talk about the most important things I learned about coping with postpartum depression as a Muslim woman, some of the most common mistakes we make and how we can overcome them. I discuss what it’s like to have postpartum depression as a Muslim woman, the impact it had on me, how Islam played a role in dealing with it, and finally some tips for managing your mental health during pregnancy so you don’t experience postpartum depression or at least learn to manage it.
