We just need to accept this is who the Colorado Avalanche are. When they are good, they are so very good, when they are bad.....you know the rest.

The Avalanche will be a playoff team. They have positioned themselves to at the least accomplish that. Which team they are once the playoffs begin is another story. Will be get the team that looked like they could beat anyone during a six game winning streak, or will it be the team that was dropping games to bottom dwelling teams like they were after Christmas?

We will have to wait to get that answer, but by this point, we have to call the Avalanche what they are. An either very hot or very cold team.
