We are kicking this off with this year’s winner of Best Actress in a Leading Role at the BAFTAs, Joanna Scanlan. Joanna won for her tremendous work in After Love (Aleem Khan, 2020) which made us all the more excited to talk about her. As well as that gem, we dipped back into Joanna’s filmography to discuss other significant entries in her film career including The Invisible Woman (Ralph Fiennes, 2013), Pin Cushion (Deborah Haywood, 2017), Notes On A Scandal (Richard Eyre, 2006) and Bridget Jones’s Baby (Sharon Maguire, 2016).

Michael then quizzes Scott on how well he knows his BAFTA-winning performers.

And we round off the episode with some personal wishes for fantasy film roles we’d die to see Joanna take on...
