(Decision Space Patreon)   Episode 72 - Riftforce Dust off your rift rocks (as they say) because today we are covering Riftforce. It isn't every day that we cover a new game on Decision Space, but Riftforce (2021), designed by Carlo Bortolini, was something of a perfect storm. First, Jake had the opportunity to play it at Geekway to the West and was blown away. Days later, Riftforce appeared in alpha on Board Game Arena, giving us ample opportunity to play the game, and play the game we did! As to whether the game held up to the ample play and the Decision Space lens, well you'll have to hop into the Interdecisional Spaceship and find out. We also shout out our friend Saroule's French-language gaming podcast on this episode, who was our sparring partner in prepping for this episode. It's a rondel building and traversing cowboy management game that currently sits at number 12 on Board Game Geek's list of greatest games of all time. If that sounds like fun, it is. But what does the game have to offer beyond its appealing theme in terms of decisions? Well, if that is what you are wondering, then you are in the right place.
