Easter Eggstravaganza - Saturday, March 23 - 10 a.m. to Noon

Pecan Grove Park

Join us for a morning of laughter, surprises, and unforgettable memories for the whole family. Bring your baskets and hunt for treat-filled eggs, enjoy lots of kids activities and games, food trucks, and photos with the Easter Bunny. Hunts are divided by age groups and abilities so everyone will enjoy a full basket of treats!

Pup-a-Palooza - Friday, March 22 - 6 to 9 p.m.

Scentral Bark Dog Park

Dogs of all sizes and breeds are invited to hunt for eggs filled with doggie treats. Contests, food vendors, prizes and photos with the Easter Bunny, too

NTMWD Annual System Maintenance:

The North Texas Municipal Water District has temporarily changed the disinfectant in its water treatment process until April 1. The annual, routine change is necessary to maintain the regional system and year-round water quality. Your tap water may smell a little different, but it’s completely safe to drink and use. MILLER/CHIESA INTERSECTION

The Miller Road and Chiesa Road intersection reopened today! The entire Miller Road reconstruction project is anticipated to be complete at the end of May.

The City of Rowlett Animal Services shelter is still at capacity. If you’ve been considering adding a new member to your family, now is the time – all adoptions are FREE! The shelter is open from Tuesday-Saturday (10am-5pm)

Keep Rowlett Beautiful Art Contest

KRB is sponsoring a "3D Plastic Trash-Art" contest as part of the Earth Day Celebration on Saturday, April 20 on the Downtown Rowlett Green. Submission categories range from little-bitty's up to grown-ups, so dig through that recycling bin and get creative! Deadline is midnight April 1.

Total Eclipse Watch Party

Join us on the Downtown Rowlett Green Total Eclipse Watch Party on Monday, April 8 - Noon to 3 p.m. Activities include a DJ, rocket ship bounce house, food trucks, and educational programs to learn more about this astronomical event. FREE solar eclipse glasses from the Rowlett Public Library for event attendees while supplies last. Join us on the dark side of the moon for a once in a lifetime experience!

Downtown Strategic Plan Open House - Monday, April 22 - 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
