The Timberwolves were in every game, but came up short vs Brooklyn, due to some poor shot selection and lack of perimeter defense. The Atlanta game was a highlight reel, that many a Timberwolves fan will enjoy anytime, anywhere. Mike Conley has arrived, and right away you can tell that there is more of a flow in the offense, in particular with Rudy Gobert, who is playing much better. We saw an amazing defensive stand in Dallas' final possesion, which lead to a huge road victory. The Timberwolves traded D'Angelo Russell in a three team trade for Mike Conley Jr, Nickeil Alexander-Walker and three Utah second round picks. Anthony Edwards has taken on a role that he thought wasn't his cup of tea just a year ago, becoming a floor general. After a very nice game in Utah, and a sucessful homecoming for Rudy Gobert, things went south quickly in Portland, as it seemed no one wanted to play defense or rebound what-so-ever.
