On today’s episode, Jason and Super Producer Rob G (Robert Guerra) bring you wall-to-wall reaction to wild night one of the Sweet Sixteen. Drew Timme was unstoppable as Gonzaga came back from a 13-point halftime deficit - and almost gagged it back at the end - to hand UCLA yet another crushing NCAA Tournament loss. The Bruins will have nightmares about that Julian Strawther 3-point for a long, long time. The only question for UCLA now becomes whether or not super seniors Tyger Campbell and Jaime Jaquez are going to come back for their fifth years. In the East Region, Kansas State's diminutive point guard Markquis Nowell put on a legendary performance (20 points, 19 assists and 5 steals) leading the Wildcats to a thrilling overtime win over Michigan State; the kid was absolutely electric. Interestingly enough, none of Thursday's biggest stars (Timme, Jaquez or Nowell) project to be anything more than fringe NBA players, but maybe that's partly why this year's Tournament has been so fascinating? Finally, the guys close the show by making their official picks for the Sweet Sixteen Friday slate.
