Over the last few months, he has assisted in successfully recruiting candidates in every single Florida state legislative district for the 2020 election cycle. After completing his undergraduate degree in Political Science and minoring in Criminal Justice, & Religious Studies at VCU in Richmond, Matt’s then-fiancée, now-wife and he chose Ballston as the place to begin their family. Since 2017 alone, he's traveled the state recruiting candidates, knocking doors, and helping candidates raise over $275,000 to help Democrats win all three statewide offices, the State Senate & the House of Delegates.Matt is running for this office because he's not only already an effective law-maker and team-player, but the kind of visible community leader the 47th District deserves.Episode Website Resources:Friends of Matt Rogers - https://www.friendsofmattrogers.comTwitter:A Plan For That: @aplanforthatpodErin: @Welness4You13Ryan: @SweetCainMusicMatt Rogers: @MattForDelegate

She won the primary election this year with 80% of the vote (a CD 18 record), while generating an increase in turnout of more than 8,000 votes over the previous turnout record (during a pandemic). In 2016, Pam became the first African American woman to run a qualified campaign for U.S. Senate in Florida history, garnering almost 174,000 votes (more than 15% of the vote) on a shoestring budget of $175,000. In that race -- her first foray into politics -- Pam won fans all over Florida for her innovative ideas and inspirational public speaking style. Pam then ran for FL 18 in the 2018 cycle, and again electrified audiences all over the district. She built a loyal cadre of activist volunteers who continue to support her to this day.  In 2018, she received 40% of the vote, while being substantially out-spent and unable to run television ads. She entered this year’s race for FL 18 in April, outraised her opponent in every reporting period, pulled together a strong campaign team, leveraged her human assets from 2018 and won the primary in a landslide.Pam is the daughter of a U.S. Diplomat and former U.S. Ambassador. Ms. Keith later served as the first JAG assigned to the Navy Task Force on Computer Network Security.
