The Congressional Hearing on July 26, 2023, focused on Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAPs) and featured testimonies from witnesses Ryan Graves, David Grusch, and Cdr. David Fravor. However, many critics argue that the hearing was ultimately a waste of time. They believe that despite the intriguing nature of UAPs, the hearing failed to provide any concrete evidence or conclusive answers regarding the origin or nature of these phenomena. While the witnesses' testimonies were fascinating, they offered subjective accounts and personal experiences rather than definitive proof. As a result, skeptics argue that the hearing lacked the necessary scientific approach and evidence-based investigation to move the discussion forward on a substantive level. Ultimately, the hearing left many unresolved questions and failed to provide any meaningful progress in understanding UAPs.

Stan Gordon began his interest in the UFO subject and other strange incidents at the age of ten in 1959. In the late 1960’s, he acted as the telephone UFO sighting report investigations coordinator for the UFO Research Institute of Pittsburgh. Stan began in the field investigations of UFOs and other mysterious events in 1965, and is the primary investigator of the December 9,1965, UFO crash-recovery incident that occurred near Kecksburg, Pennsylvania. In 1969, Gordon established a UFO Hot-line for the public to report UFO sightings to him to investigate. In 1970, Gordon founded the Westmoreland County UFO Study Group, the first of three volunteer research groups which he would establish to investigate UFO sightings and other strange occurrences reported in Pennsylvania. Since November, 1993, he continues to investigate and document strange incidents from across the Keystone state as an independent researcher. Gordon is a former PA State Director for the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON), and was its first recipient in 1987 of the MUFON Meritorious Achievement in a UFO investigation Award. Gordon has been involved with the investigation of thousands of mysterious encounters from across Pennsylvania. He has appeared on numerous local and network TV news and documentary shows. Jennifer W. Stein is best known for her award winning 90-minute documentary film about the famous 1975 Travis Walton story. Kevin D. Randle has, for more than thirty-five years, studied the UFO phenomena in all its various incarnations. Graduate work included journalism, psychology and military science at the University of Iowa, California Coast University and the American Military University. He has both master and doctoral degrees in psychology and a second master degree in the Art of Military Science. During his investigations, Randle has traveled the United States to interview hundreds of witnesses who were involved in everything from the Roswell, New Mexico crash of 1947, to the repeated radar sightings of UFOs over Washington, D.C. in 1952, to the latest of the abduction cases. Randle was first writer to review the declassified Project Blue Book files while they were still housed at Maxwell Air Force Base and before they were redacted, among the first to report on animal mutilations and among the first to report on alien abductions. Randle has written extensively on UFOs beginning in 1973 with articles in various national magazines.
