Michelle Obama recently said it loud and proud “I did not like my husband for 10 years of our marriage”.... and guess what? It was while their kids were young. Bravo to her for admitting something that most people either didn’t even realize was happening or were ashamed to admit. As I’ve gone through raising young kids myself and seen those around me do the same, I have noticed that more people feel this way at some point in their marriage than not. And more importantly, I couldn’t help but wonder if people knew to expect this and that it wasn’t permanent, how many marriages would have potentially turned out differently? Or how many people would feel hopeful as they are going through this now.
