The Purpose Show

Allie Casazza

Mom life. We're surrounded by the message that it's the tired life. The no-time-for-myself life. The hard life. We're supposed to get through it. Survive. Cling on by the last little thread. And at the same time, Carpe Diem - enjoy every moment because it's going to go by so fast. The typical mom culture sends us all kinds of mixed, typically negative messages. We shouldn't take care of ourselves; it's selfish. The more ragged you run yourself, the bigger your badge of honor. But also, ditch your mom bod and work out. Don't yell. Make more money. Show up. Be better, but not at the expense of time with your kids. I am putting a hard stop to all of this. While being a mom, running a business, and whatever else you might have going on is hard, it is a lot and there's lots of giving of yourself, the idea that motherhood means living a joyless, nonstop-hustle-with-zero-balance kind of life, where you give and give and give and never take, needs to stop. I'm on a mission to help you stop counting down the minutes 'til bedtime (at least most days). Stop the mom guilt and shame game. Stop cleaning up after your kids' childhood and start being present for it. I want to help you thrive in work, home, and life. I believe in John 10:10 that we are called to living an abundant life and I know moms are not excluded from that promise. Join me in conversations about simplicity, some business and life hacks, spirituality and lots of other good stuff that leads to a life of less for the sake of enjoying more in your motherhood. I'm Allie Casazza and this is The Purpose Show. read less

Ep 289: Find Your Voice, Value Yourself, and Set Boundaries with Amy Smith Green
Our culture (especially mom culture) tells us that self-sacrifice is glorified and that being a martyr to your family and kids is like wearing a badge of honor. But ... when we silence ourselves + continue living in this way, we send a subconscious message to our mind that our wants, opinions, and needs do NOT matter. And ultimately, this determines our self-worth.  So let's put an end to this toxic thinking and culture around us β€” let's set some boundaries, find our voice, and authentically and unapologetically value ourselves.  Amy Smith Green is a certified and credentialed life coach and hypnotherapist, masterful speaker, and personal empowerment expert. Amy uses her roles as coach, writer, podcaster, and speaker to move individuals to a place of radical personal empowerment and self-worth.  In this episode Allie + Amy discuss:  ❌ Why we are compelled NOT to set boundaries.  🀩 How to figure out where boundaries are needed in your life  ❀️ The core meaning of worthiness and the powerful role it plays in developing boundaries in your life  Connect with Amy Green Smith: Instagram Facebook Website Mentioned in this Episode: Course in 30  Connect with Allie: Instagram Website Podcast Page This podcast is produced by Pivot Media Co. Interested in advertising on this podcast? Ep 283: How to Create A Morning Routine That Sets You Up For A Good Day

Ep 283: How to Create A Morning Routine That Sets You Up For A Good Day
Your morning routine has the power to set you up for success for the rest of your day β€” it should work FOR you and bring ease to your life. It should not be rigid or driven by rules, but be fluid and personal.  Every new season of my life usually brings a shift in my morning routine. And the one thing I have learned is this: If it's hard to stick to, it's not actually serving you.  Before you create a morning routine you have to define what a successful day means to YOU (and only you can define that). For me, I want to be happy, feel good, and be really present. That is my foundation for a morning routine that gets me ready to experience THAT success. And I know you can experience that same success everyday. Pop in your headphones, grab a notebook or open your notes app, and let's create a morning routine that works FOR you.  I want to see your routines! Tag me on Instagram as you figure out your routine and even as you live it out. I cannot wait to see YOU living our your definition of success, babe.  In this episode Allie discusses:  🀩 Why it is important to define what a successful day is for YOU before you create a morning routine  β˜€οΈ Her current morning routine β€” she breaks it down moment by moment!  πŸ“ Prompts + questions you can use to get started creating YOUR morning routine  Mentioned in this Episode: Grab Allie's books Biz coaching with Allie Connect with Allie: Instagram Website Podcast Page This podcast is produced by Pivot Media Co. Interested in advertising on this podcast? Ep 281: Owning Your Enoughness, Overcoming Shame, & Rewiring Your Brain with Marisa Peer
"I Am Enough" was a book I read earlier this year and it has landed in my top 5 books of 2022, and I knew I wanted to round out this years podcast episodes having a conversation with the incredible author, Marisa Peer.  Spending decades working as a therapist, she found that most issues point back to one belief: I am not enough. If you are not enough, then you are needing something more. But if you know you are enough, you can have more but not need it. If you are feeling like you are not enough ____ (fill in the blank to whatever that is), this message is for you.  Marisa is going to walk through how to overcome shame and rewire your brain to believe (and live out) that you ARE enough. As you head into 2023, I hope you can walk in the confidence that you truly are enough.  In this episode Allie AND Marisa discuss:  Enoughness; what it is, where it comes from, and why it matters  Where you should begin to believe that truly you are enough  Making shame and hurt familiar (it's a powerful thing you HAVE to understand!)  Self talk - what to avoid and how to affirm yourself  Connect with GUEST NAME: Marisa's Website I Am Enough Website Rapid Transformational Therapy with Marisa Marisa's Instagram Marisa's Book "I Am Enough"  Mentioned in this Episode: DLAM  Business coaching with Allie  Connect with Allie: Instagram Grab Her Best-Seller: Declutter Like A Mother Grab Her Kids Book: Be the Boss of Your Stuff Podcast Page This podcast is produced by Pivot Media Co. Interested in advertising on this podcast?
