Hey guys, what's up? Welcome back to the podcast. As always, please click subscribe. So today I was just playing some nice Knights of the Old Republic. And I noticed that they have an issue with the Sith with having these shields that can block blasters and stuff like that. So maybe in the future in the real world, this could be a technology that really takes off where you have a shield that's so strong, that guns became become, like, not even usable with energy shields and stuff like that. So that's an interesting point that maybe in the future, there could be Jedi and that swords could get back into the fray, just like medieval times, kind of an interesting concept. when you really think about it. I think when you get down to it, that's the great thing about video games is they allow new ideas and new to come along. And she wouldn't think about, I always thought that we would never go back to that era where we had sores and stuff like that when it comes to just equipment used in combat. And in the future, maybe the future short soldier is actually using a energy based sword like jet eyes would and get trained that way. Because you're not able to get around those introduce shields and things like that. So that technology ever takes off kind of an interesting concept of maybe it is we're training people back into that fine art of medieval combat. And I never really thought about this, but they do mention this in nicer Republic when you're starting off, and you're talking to this guy who's trying to sell you some energy shields, these talks about how in the future during this time that they had can't get around the shields, so they have more hand to hand, which is interesting, I never would have thought about this because acyf use viral blades. And that's how they kind of got to that point in their history. When it comes a nice Olympics is definitely an interesting concept never really heard it, I had to share it really cool. When it comes to video games and the technologies that you see you see a lot of strategy games, they have technologies of the future that are out there, and, and they really take on that extra, um, when it comes to really innovating and really making you think about innovation, how we can get to those points and, and improve. So energy shields, you can imagine that being over a car and protecting from accidents and stuff like that we're talking really far in the future. But it's definitely a concept that you want to put out there that could save lives potentially, are an energy shield that shield your body during a certain situation that weren't otherwise that would protect you. So can good stuff come out of video games, I think it can. I think in the future, a lot of this innovation may secretly come out of video games, because you have to first have that thought, or that idea or that theory to be able to take on such things. And that's one of the neat things about video games, they make you think outside the box, and they let you see things visually through technology and other concepts that you wouldn't see otherwise. So it's always interesting to see these type of things come along. And as we see them, they didn't become real life, like kind of like Star Trek drove a lot of that innovation with cell phones and iPads. And you saw those things in the show way before you saw in real life. And just ideas that may not seem possible right now, but could be possible 50 years from now, it's always good to have those ideas out there just for the record. And then when it happens, you're like, Oh my gosh, that actually came true. So the same holds true. I think now video games are crate crate that medium where people can really get their stuff out there a lot of information, because there's a lot of games out there. And you can get your info and your ideas out there. And who knows, maybe someone will pick up on that later and see that, hey, maybe this is actually really possible to make, which is a neat concept.
