The relationship between the head and assistant coaches is not just business. There must be a level of respect for each other that is intentionally developed over time. The job is winning, but along with winning should be relationship building. The better the relationship from coach to coach, the better the relationships are from coaches to players. The program must see that the staff respects each other and supports each other in order to develop a culture of togetherness.
