As a head coach, before you can get your message over to the kids that you coach, we must be able to coach our coaching staff. There clear cut jobs and responsibilities that need to be in place to push the program's agenda. You must work with your staff to speak the same language, yet empower each coach to have his or her own voice. The players on the team must know that each assistant is empowered to bring their strengths to the program, yet understanding that the head coach is the final voice for order and structure.
