Now officially two weeks away from the NFL Draft, the Arizona Cardinals continue to find themselves in potentially the most leverage-rich position out of any team in the draft with multiple teams looking to trade up to the #4 pick overall. A new question to consider amid all the craziness is: would drafting Marvin Harrison Jr at #4 overall, while declining a trade back for what's set to be at least two first round picks, actually expedite the growth of the Arizona Cardinals more than a trade back? Somewhat counterintuitive to address in that manner, the Arizona Cardinals are devoid of talent in many key positions and don't have very many stars on the roster. Drafting Marvin Harrison Jr at #4 overall would fill one of those voids, while actually potentially expediting the growth of the Cardinals more than taking a couple extra players in the first round of 2024 and 2025.
