Close your eyes,  And breathe in fully, Turning your attention away from the hurried motion of all those thoughts, And onto the slow, deliberate movement of your body as you breathe.  PAUSE… In and out of your nose, Slowing down bit by bit.  Releasing your shoulders,  Softening your face, Relaxing your entire body, As you follow your breath. In and out, Receiving and giving, Expanding and contracting.  Follow this slow dance of air, In its circular, calming rhythm.  LONG PAUSE… See if you can notice the thoughts popping up, Dancing and swirling and bright with promises, Begging for your attention.  PAUSE... Just notice them, And imagine yourself slowly bowing your head, Breathing deeply,  And instead come inside to your breath. PAUSE… Over and over again, Choose your breath, And feel it anchor you. Root yourself deeply in the truth of your soul, The knowing that you are whole, You are magic, And you are infinite rays of love. PAUSE… Let those thoughts dissolve, Let their hold on you release. As you come here, Deep into YOU. Your mind open, And clear. Oftentimes, we’re left with wounds from the ending, That can stay with us for a long time.  So today we’ll be creating space for closure for these friendships, So we can let them go, Forgive, And move on.  So let yourself settle in, And take a big, deep breath, Signaling to your body and mind that it’s time to slow down. PAUSE… Surrender to the gentle rhythm of your breathing, Letting it soften you, Open you, And calm you. LONG PAUSE… There may be wounds inside. Memories of old friendships, The laughter and the tears. Just a few clicks makes it easy for you to listen on your favorite podcast player.  Become a PREMIUM member today by going to --> https://WomensMeditationNetwork.com/premium When the world gets too loud, And I feel too raw, When my energy going out has expired, I retreat to my cave, And block out the noise, Here there is little that’s required.  PAUSE… It happens so fast, My need to withdraw, I often don’t know it until, I’m yelling or snapping, At those that I love. That’s when I need to be still.  PAUSE… So I take a deep breath, And fight the loud voice, That says I have too much to do.  You don’t have time, To go in your cave, But deep down I know that’s not true.  PAUSE… So I ask for some help, From others who’ll hold, My responsibilities for just a bit.  I free myself up, And shut down the screens, And eventually, I finally sit.  LONG PAUSE… In my cave I hear, The echoes of screams, That want me to do what they say. But each breath I take, Quiets them down, And soon, they’ve drifted away.  PAUSE… Slowing, slowing, slowing down, Each breath fills me more.  Calming, calming, calming down, I can feel my soul restore.  LONG PAUSE… Here in my cave, The pace of my life, Slows till it comes to a halt. It’s then that I see, That the racing is fake, This stress is all in our thoughts. PAUSE… So stillness I seek, Through breath I sink in, And let go of all that is here. PAUSE… Feel the waves of air, Move through your body. Ebbing, And flowing. Soothing, And relaxing, And slowing you down.  LONG PAUSE… Feel the warmth of your feet, And with your attention on them, See if you can imagine yourself taking one small step, And then another, Until you’re walking forward slowly, And deliberately. PAUSE… Your body is relaxed, And fluid as you move.  Your shoulders are soft and lowered. Your eyes are heavy, Your belly is soft, And your breathing is slow. PAUSE… Your walking brings you to the top of a staircase. The ground is warm,  And the air around you is quiet and calm. Feel your body gently pull you forward, As your foot reaches down to find the first step. PAUSE… Breathe deeply here, Fully into your lungs, Letting the fresh air cleanse you. LONG PAUSE… Softer now, Your foot slowly descends onto the second step. And as it touches down,  You can feel all those plans,  All those things your mind has been trying to organize,  Detach,  Travel down your body, And release into the ground.  As you just breathe… LONG PAUSE… Your foot gently reaches down for the third step, And as it finds its hold,  Notice all those worries gather. All of the stresses you’ve been holding, All of the anxieties that have been building. Watch them gather within you, And fall to the ground,  With every single exhale.  LONG PAUSE… Your body is soft, Open,  And deeply relaxed,  As you descend onto the fourth step of the staircase.  PAUSE… Notice the emotions swirling inside of you. The excitement, The heaviness. All those waves of hope,  Doubt,  Fear, And joy.  PAUSE… Let your slow breathing corral them,  Embrace them,  And let them go, With every breath out.  LONG PAUSE… As your foot leans down to touch the fifth step,  You notice your mind is clear, Your back is relaxed, Your fingers and toes hum lightly with warmth, And your cheeks are soft.  PAUSE… Take a big deep breath here, Filling up with fresh air,  And letting your exhale calm you even more.  LONG PAUSE… You continue onto the sixth step,  Feeling as though you’re gently gliding down the stairs, And deep into the comfort of the night.  PAUSE… Feel your neck soften,  Your arms melt, And your chest open.  LONG PAUSE… The seventh step welcomes you, Into the open arms of the night. She embraces you, And fills your open heart with love.  LONG PAUSE… Ease down onto step eight. Lightly. Feel yourself melt a little further, And float a little easier.  LONG PAUSE… As your foot finds step number nine,  You feel the waves of total peace wash over you. Gratitude for what has been, Acceptance for what is, And openness for what’s to come.  PAUSE… Your arms and legs are heavy, Your chest and belly are open and soft, Your mind is spacious and clear. LONG PAUSE… As you descend onto your tenth and final step,  You feel the warm light of your soul radiate. You are one with this moment. One with yourself.  One with the universe.  PAUSE… You are the night. You are the stars.  You are love. You are calm.  PAUSE… Rest now, dear one. And trust in the night.  Surrender to her and her wisdom. PAUSE… Gently notice any tension you’re holding in your body. Relax your shoulders, Soften your belly, And feel your legs get heavy. PAUSE… You are not the thoughts that have created these patterns. It’s time to let them go.  PAUSE… Invite yourself to turn inward, Dropping below the thinking mind. Where do your negative patterns show up in your life? PAUSE… Maybe in your relationships, Addictive behaviors, Or self destructive thoughts. PAUSE… Simply notice without judgment, And just witness their presence in your life. And feel them connected to the ground.  PAUSE… Gently place one hand on your heart,  And the other on your stomach. Take a couple of deep breaths. LONG PAUSE… There is nothing you need to do, Nowhere you have to be.  So relax your mind, Let it all go,  And just be. PAUSE… Open your heart as you surrender to the flow of time.  Feeling the lightness of life moving with ease. PAUSE… The pressures of life feels so real, When they swell to the surface. Set the intention to be mindful,  And gently pull yourself into presence.  PAUSE… Focus your mind on one goal, To live in each moment with mindful attention. PAUSE… Place your hand on your belly, And as you breathe in deeply, Feel your belly expand like a balloon. All the way until you can’t breathe in anymore.  And then exhale, Feeling the sensation of your belly contracting, As all the air is released.  PAUSE… Now drop your hand, And settle into a nice, easy rhythm of breathing.  Imagining your inhale gathering everything up, And your exhale releasing it all out.  Breathe in and gather… Breathe out and release.  Breathe in, Breathe out.  Pull your attention away from those thoughts, Those emotions, Those plans, Those worries, And be here with your breath. LONG PAUSE… If thoughts keep arising,  That’s okay. See if you can simply notice them, As they flutter like a butterfly right past you. Riding the breeze,  And flying away out of sight. Separate from you, As you stay anchored here in your breath. Over and over again,  They fly away,  Out of sight, And out of mind.  PAUSE… Feel the space in your mind…open.  Feel the space in your body…open.  LONG PAUSE… Here, in this space, Lies your stillness.  This moment between your breathes, This pause between your thoughts.  PAUSE… See if you can lean into it now, Imagining that space opening up, Expanding, And filling you with peace. LONG PAUSE… It’s quiet here. Gentle.  Filled with a welcoming nothingness that eases you, Relaxes you, And calms you.  PAUSE… Let every breath expand your stillness just a bit more, Letting it be okay if butterflies of thoughts find their way in,  While you observe them fluttering until they disappear.  LONG PAUSE… Your mind is clear, And your heart is light. You know, you see, You’re perfect all along.  LONG PAUSE Perhaps there is guilt, Frustration or pain, You’re not where you quite want to be.  No good comes out of,  Self talk that berates, Shattering your soul and your dreams.  PAUSE Or maybe you push, To fill up a void, I’m not enough is carved in your heart.  But just like the flower, You’re perfect as is, A phenomenal piece of art.  PAUSE Let it go, let it be, Be gentle and strong. You know, you see, You’re perfect all along.  LONG PAUSE Be here and be still, In sync with your breath, And listen for whispers inside.  You know when to push, You know when to slow, You know that you’re worthy and wise.  LONG PAUSE Now the time comes, For a gentle embrace, Loving yourself to your core.  With gentle, sweet care, Feel the love grow, Let it heal and restore.  PAUSE Let it go, let it be, Be gentle and strong.
