Shiva has many different meanings. "Shiva" literally means "the loving, the kind". But it also means “the higher self” and “the divine everywhere”. It worships the divine Mother Kali, the divine love. Mata means "mother". This mother is "Durge." The power from the mother of the universe (Kundalini).
