This may be the final episode of Season one of Fans of the Weast! We have to wait for the arrival of Derf's twins, and we are all hoping for a safe and healthy delivery! We had an uninspiring slate of Championship games (in my opinion), but we have our Super Bowl matchup! The Eagles will face the Chiefs in the Kelce/Andy Reid bowl. Most of this episode is just loving on and talking about Damar Hamlin's awful situation. He needs all the prayers, thoughts, and love we can give him and his family right now! We all knew this was how the season should have gone for the Bills and Seahawks! As Buffalo was being buried in snow, the Bills buried the Bears and inched closer to the #1 overall seed in the AFC. However, Seahawks fans got a dose of reality as they fell to the Chiefs, unsurprisingly. The Broncos also lost, so the #1 overall draft pick is not COMPLETLY out of the question!   The Seahawks need to keep losing and the Bills need to keep winning! Both will be tough as the Hawks host the Jets, and the Bills travel to Cincinnati where Joe Cool plays his best ball. Regardless of your thoughts on fans pelting players with snowballs, it worked! The Bills are on their way to the playoffs for the 4th year in a row after beating the Fins in a 4th quarter flurry! The Seahawks managed to make it a close loss to the 49ers as they are now on the outside looking in. In week 16, Derf and Dylan look forward to a Bears beatdown for the Bills and hopefully a gentle throttling vs the Chiefs. Honestly, cranberry sauce has been and always will be the worst thing ever placed on a Thanksgiving table. Luckily, we also have BILLS FOOTBALL on for the feast! It's going to be a shootout in Detroit for the 2nd week in a row for Buffalo as they just took down the Browns in the motor city. Hawks lost... Bills lost... BUT! We went 4-4 with the bets with a bunch of touchdown scorers and up some heavy units! Does this mean we can't win bets and win games? I REALLY hope that's not the case. The Bills lost a heartbreaker to the Vikings and Derf breaks down what needs to change as they head into week 11 with a Browns matchup. Unfortunately, the Bills have lost Josh Allen... for a little bit! Maybe not even that, as he is day-to-day with a UCL injury in his elbow. He suffered it in the loss to the Jets with only 2 plays to go! It's odd because as Josh was injured, no major Seahawks players were injured playing on a field where the franchise has suffered major losses! They came out unscathed and with their 4th win in a row!  Now we shift focus to the Seahawks facing Tom Brady and the Bucs in Germany as 3-point underdogs. Well, both teams are led by MVP candidates. The head coaches are top in the league and, at one point, turned around a garbage team and made themselves Coach of the Year candidates. Defenses are shutting teams' offenses down, and they are both first in their division. I see NO DIFFERENCE! We shall see the trend continue as Josh Allen and the Bills look to smoosh the Jets into the dirt, and Geno Smith and the Seahawks are on their way to Arizona to sweep the Cardinals! The Seahawks were able to put a defense on the field and stifle the Cardinals. The Bills overcame the painful defeat from the playoffs vs. the Chiefs and beat them 24-20 in the regular season. Seahawks fans got to relish in the week 1 victory, but it's back to reality as the Hawks fall to the rival Niners 27-7. Not once did I think both Derf and myself would be recording this episode with both the Seahawks and Bills sitting at 1-0! The Rams were taken care of with EASE come the 2nd half.
