I am Dr Radhika Vijay.In this episode, I will be talking about very Selective- "ALPHA 1 RECEPTOR ANTAGONISTS", like Prazosin, Terazosin and Doxazosin. Prazosin is the prototype drug and there is so much to talk about it- Extent of selectivity, its action, effect, pharmacokinetic profile, adverse effects and metabolic effects.
