The Chicago White Sox bullpen has a few question marks but here's doubt about the importance. White Sox manager, Pedro Grfiol, has reiterated that the Sox will not have a 'ninth inning guy' but will approach the closer role based on matchups and scenarios. The pitch clock will definitely help pitchers to get out of their head and into a rhythm but max effort pitchers might suffer from a lack of time to recover. With limited moments between pitches and in between innings, starting pitchers will have to manage their stamina which means the bullpen will be extremely important, especially early on in the season. The Sox have a depleted group right now as they are missing Garrett Crochet and Liam Hendriks. Aaron Bummer has yet to pitch in a Cactus League game but should be ready by Opening Day. The Sox announced new concession deals for Tuesday games this season and continued construction around the ballpark produces all kinds of questions.
