Welcome to Living My Human Design, I am so glad you are here! My name is Nicole Hoover and I started the Living My Human Design podcast in hopes that sharing how I am living my Human Design experiment will inspire you to experiment with your own unique Human Design. We have been conditioned by society, social media, family, and other external factors to fit inside a neat and tidy little box. But guess what? Life is messy and we are not all the same! Human Design is your permission slip to be your true, magical, authentic self.

Through the Living My Human Design podcast, I will share my experience of living according to my Human Design.  I will share what I am learning, the people places and things that excite and inspire me, and I will be encouraging you to experiment with your unique Human Design.  Join me on this life changing experiment of self discovery!

Send us a textHappy New Year!  In this Episode, I invite you to join me in a 30 day experiment on Authority.Questions to ask yourself:*When (in the past) have I made a decision and it didn’t turn out so well?*What was I doing right before I made that decision?*What was I feeling?*When (in the past) have I made a decision that turned out awesome?*What was I doing right before making that decision?*How was I feeling? For the next 7days or more, when you have some time to yourself, take 1-2 minutes to scan your body from head to toe. Send us a textIn this episode of the Living My Human Design podcast we will be discussing the Authorities in Human Design.  Authority is how you become aligned with your Human Design and how you make decisions.  We have been taught to make decisions with the mind, but the minds job is collecting information and experiences.  It is for comparing things and contemplation.  It is not for making decisions.In Human Design, we learn to make decisions with the body.  The ind is invested in your Identity and personality, but the authority is invested in your energy and your souls intentions.  What actually moves us through life on our unique path is the brilliance of our body, the form we inhabit.We are all designed with a unique way to make decisions with our body consciousness that helps put us back on, or keep us on our current path, empowering us to live life authentically from our own personal truth.Questions to Contemplate: When in the past have you made a decision that felt good and gave you the results you were looking for? (example of when we decided to sell the house and live in an RV)• How did your authority show up in this process?• How did you feel?  What did you see or hear or know?Now think of a time when you made a decision that didn't go so well and felt forced or made you feel stuck.• How did you mind show up in this process.  (You may have even asked yourself what was I thinking?!)• How did you feel before and after?• What did you see, hear, know?Over the next week, keep your strategy and authority in your awareness as you go through the day.• Emotional - Are you taking a little more time to sit with your decisions before saying yes or no?• Sacral - Pay attention to the sound that bubbles out when people ask you to commit your energy to something• Splenic- what sensations are you feeling in your body as you make a decision• Ego- Are you trusting your voice?  Listen to what you say when you let the mind go• Self Directed - Will the decision bring you joy?
