Enter Laura Varney. Laura is a Pre/Postnatal Fitness Specialist, Certified Personal Trainer, and Founder of The Baby Body. She is the “Jill” of all trades when it comes to fitness. Her vigorous resume includes strength and functional training, pre/postnatal training, HIIT, and power vinyasa yoga. Yet her path to fitness wasn’t necessarily all it “worked out” to be. In her past, Laura had dabbled in NPC bikini physique competitions and realized how dangerous and toxic it was to follow such a restrictive diet and exercise regimen. The competitive environment left Laura feeling depleted and exhausted and her mind filled with confusion. The lack of freedom, the sense of limitation, and the struggle of feeling safe in the fitness world inspired Laura to create a more empathetic approach to wellness - especially for those entering motherhood.
