Narrated by Kumar Varun. Kunti, distressed by the impending war, decided to reveal the truth about Karna's birth. She met him by the Ganga and told him that he was her son, born of the Sun god, making him the eldest of the Pandavas. She urged him to leave Duryodhana and join his brothers. However, Karna, loyal to Duryodhana, refused, saying it would be dishonorable to switch sides now. He promised Kunti that he would not harm any of her sons except Arjuna. Touched by his integrity, Kunti left, accepting that her fate was in the hands of destiny. Sources, Bibliography and Suggested further readings: Vyasa, Maharishi. Mahabharata. Translated by C.
