Ovechkin overtook the late Hall of Famer Gordie Howe for sole possession of the second-most goals in NHL history Dec. 23. Then Dan also talks about Alex Ovechkin passes Wayne Gretzky for most 40-goal NHL seasons. Then Dan talks about the Caps loss to the Columbus Blue Jackets. The Caps got the lead early,but weren't able to sustain it. In the last segment Dan talks about how the Caps and how they should spend the rest of the season.
