Author Phyllis Gobbell

: I grew up in a small Tennessee town. I taught college English in Nashville for twenty years, until 2022, while writing short stories, narrative nonfiction, and five books. I have received awards in both fiction and nonfiction, including Tennessee’s Individual Artist Literary Award. I teach a Lifelong Learning Writing Course for Lipscomb University and am a writing coach/editor.
