It was lovely to have Micah Burog back on the show. (She was with us once before in Am I Making a Difference? Episode 61.) As I’ve mentioned previously, my time in children’s theater was very fulfilling, working with creative, enthusiastic, and kind people like Micah was a big part of that. I’m happy to hear she is pursuing a career in eduction. She will thrive. In this conversation we talked a bit about Christmas. Then I asked what were her takeaways from 2022, and what does she see for 2023.
It turns out 2021 was a tough year for Micah as it was for many of us. Her phrase for that year was ‘intentional impact.’ For 2022 she went with ‘release and embrace’ which is a positive way to make the best out of what comes your way. And as she shared with us the phrase she will likely carry into 2023 is ‘pouring.’ This will be pouring into others with love even if she doesn’t know them., and pouring into herself. It’s a very valuable, and healthy choice.
