Joe snagged himself one of the elusive PS5s, so decided to treat ourselves to a game from the new generation...well a remake of a game from two generations ago. The Demon's Souls remake is a trip down memory lane, to when From Software didn't know they were creating a brand new genre of game, and Souls was just a bit clunkier. The atmosphere and the graphical update is quite impressive, and there are some real standout moments in this flawed gem, but there are some troublesome game design decisions that both of us really wish got updated with this remake.
