The Lawson Family Christmas
06-12-2022
The Lawson Family Christmas
Charlie Lawson, the quiet, unassuming man had become more outgoing, especially with the children. He laughed and told jokes, which he never did. His wife might have been happy with those changes in her husband if they hadn’t been so abrupt – and if Charlie had not been spending an inordinate amount of time with their 17-year-old daughter, Marie. Something terrible was going to happen, and it would ruin Christmas in a way that only murder and tragedy can do. Get a FREE 15 day trial of Backblaze at https://backblaze.com/hauntingsGet 20% OFF Manscaped + Free Shipping with promo code AHP at MANSCAPED.com! #ad #manscapedpodTimestamps:Monologue: 00:00:00 - 00:53:00Discussion: 00:54:00 - 01:38:00Check out our updated website and sign up for our newsletter at AmericanHauntingsPodcast.comCheck out our merch at AmericanHauntingsClothing.comFollow us on Twitter @AmerHauntsPod, @TroyTaylor13, @CodyBeckSTLFollow us on Instagram @AmericanHauntingsPodcast, @TroyTaylorgram, @CodyBeckSTLSubscribe for more bonus content on our Patreon pageThis episode was written by Troy TaylorProduced and edited by Cody BeckMusic for this season is performed by Packy Lundholm and you can find more about his music and upcoming shows on Twitter, Instagram, Bandcamp, Soundcloud, Facebook, YouTube, and PackyLundholm.com Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/american-hauntings-podcast/donationsAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy
Victims of the Ax Fiend

Victims of the Ax Fiend
One of the strangest murder sprees in American history occurred across Louisiana and Texas in the early 1910s. Local newspapers called the first crime "the most brutal murder in the history of this section," and there would be many more -- all linked to the same killer. The newspapers of the era, dealing with murder victims that were all African-Americans, claimed the killings were connected to a deranged Voodoo woman and a cult called the "Church of Sacrifice," which used the victims for bloody rituals. The story wasn't true – the real story may have been even stranger – and they remain unsolved.Get a FREE 15 day trial of Backblaze at https://backblaze.com/hauntingsGet 20% OFF Manscaped + Free Shipping with promo code AHP at MANSCAPED.com! #ad #manscapedpodTimestamps:Monologue: 00:00:00 - 00:38:00Discussion: 00:42:09 - 01:31:00Check out our updated website and sign up for our newsletter at AmericanHauntingsPodcast.comCheck out our merch at AmericanHauntingsClothing.comFollow us on Twitter @AmerHauntsPod, @TroyTaylor13, @CodyBeckSTLFollow us on Instagram @AmericanHauntingsPodcast, @TroyTaylorgram, @CodyBeckSTLSubscribe for more bonus content on our Patreon pageThis episode was written by Troy TaylorProduced and edited by Cody BeckMusic for this season is performed by Packy Lundholm and you can find more about his music and upcoming shows on Twitter, Instagram, Bandcamp, Soundcloud, Facebook, YouTube, and PackyLundholm.com Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/american-hauntings-podcast/donationsAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy
The Starved Rock Murders

The Starved Rock Murders
On March 14, 1960, the bodies of three women from the Chicago suburbs were discovered in St. Louis Canyon, one of the many natural wonders at Starved Rock State Park, near Utica, Illinois. The crime shocked northern Illinois and led to a manhunt that snared a confessed killer who spent the next 59 years behind bars. It is one of the most shocking stories to ever occur in this otherwise peaceful region – and it left lingering spirits behind.Get a FREE 15 day trial of Backblaze at https://backblaze.com/hauntingsGet 20% OFF Manscaped + Free Shipping with promo code AHP at MANSCAPED.com! #ad #manscapedpodSponsored by BetterHelp. Strangers In The Night (The Keddie Resort Murders)

Strangers In The Night (The Keddie Resort Murders)
One of the most disturbing multiple murders in California history occurred on April 11, 1981, when three victims – a mother, her teenage son, and the son's friend – were beaten to death in a remote cabin in the woods while children slept soundly in the next room. A fourth victim – a 12-year-old daughter – vanished in the night, and her body was found a year later, miles away from the gruesome scene. The murders remain unsolved to this day, but it went on to inspire THE STRANGERS, one of the most terrifying films ever made.Get a FREE 15 day trial of Backblaze at https://backblaze.com/hauntingsGet 20% OFF Manscaped + Free Shipping with promo code AHP at MANSCAPED.com! #ad #manscapedpodSponsored by BetterHelp.
