What are those strange sounds in the woods? This episode is dedicated to the known sounds encountered in the night that may not be readily known. No matter what, unknown sounds can still be unnerving and scary if you don't know what they are. Let's take a listen and expand our knowledge of the night. Then.... let's listen to some crazy sounds we don't want to hear if we were by ourselves in the night. You tell me, what are the sounds at the end?

This episode briefly covers the basic aspects of documenting the scene (mapping, photography, etc...). It also covers the various ways to collect trace and DNA evidence correctly. I have compiled a nice list of websites and links with how to's and places to get the proper supplies. Also attached are two cool articles on casting in the sand and one in the snow.
