Description: Moses needed God's presence to accompany Israel on the way to Canaan, and on the mountain God's glory was revealed to him. God preserved a remnant when the wicked of Judah, and of Sodom, were destroyed. His mercy is praised in both Testaments. We must forgive personal offenses, for God to forgive our sins. The New Testament reveals God's glory in the person of Jesus Christ. His obedience was rewarded with eternal life, which we also can receive through faith. The mercy of Jesus sets us an example in how to treat our brethren.
